Welcome to MacInChina.com, where Macs in China are the core focus of our website. MacInChina.com, run by the Beijing Macintosh User Group of the Beijing Macintosh Union, helps Mac users in China find out more about their Macs in this nation. Expat users in China can understand more about Macs in the country, while foreign visitors from around the World can discover the Chinese Mac world in English.
MacInChina.com was launched on March 6, 2006, having been announced at the March 4, 2006 meeting of the Beijing Macintosh User Group. BeiMac President David Feng describes the website as a sign of a continuing effort for international Mac people in Beijing and across all of China.
Contents on MacInChina.com will mainly focus on the Mac in China from a foreigner or expat's point of view (i.e. from a non-Chinese point of view). Questions will be internationally oriented, with topics concerning the non-Chinese Mac population interested in Macintosh China being placed first.
On August 1, 2007, the new website of MacInChina.com launched using a new content management system based on Joomla, and will sport a new forum. The new forums replace the previous BeiMacWeb International forums.
In future, MacInChina will provide the user with a wealth of Greater China-related Mac news and info, with BeiMacWeb providing a more localized, Beijing-based view.
MacInChina.com's contents will be progressively expanded.
